Interactive Flat Panel Buying Guide for Brand Owners: OEM/ODM (2026)
I know a brand owner who spent a year building a regional education brand around a panel he'd sourced through a trading company. The first two orders were fine. The third order came in with a different touch controller inside — cheaper, and it drifted. His dealers noticed before he did. He had put his logo on a product he didn't actually control, and it nearly cost him the brand.
If you're putting your name on interactive flat panels, the factory behind them is your real product. This guide is about choosing that factory, not choosing a panel.
Own the factory, or own the risk
The first question isn't "what can you customize?" — it's "what do you actually make?" A trading company can put your logo on someone else's panel, but it can't change what's inside it, and it can't promise you the same unit next order. When you build a brand, you need a manufacturer whose line runs from SMT to module to final assembly in-house, because that's the only kind of supplier that can guarantee the product you approved is the product that ships.
Ask a simple test question: "If I change the motherboard or the panel, can you build it?" A factory answers yes and gives you a lead time. A trader forwards your email and hopes.
What real OEM/ODM depth looks like
Logo printing is table stakes. Real brand ownership means controlling the whole unboxing experience and what's under the glass:
- Boot screen and firmware. Your brand should be the first thing the screen shows, not a third-party logo the factory forgot to strip.
- Packaging and manuals. Custom boxes and your own documentation in your language, so the product looks like yours end to end.
- Spec lock-in. The panel, touch technology and mainboard should be fixed in the contract, so next year's order matches this year's — BOE or CSOT A-grade panels, infrared 40-point touch, Android 15 with an OPS slot for Windows 11 Pro.
- Private-label exclusivity. The factory shouldn't be selling the same build to your competitor under their brand.
That last point matters more than most people think. Ask, in writing, whether your build is exclusive to you.
Quality you can put your name on
Your brand's reputation is the unit that fails after six months. So look past the showroom sample to what the factory does on every single unit. A 48-hour aging test before shipment catches the panels that would otherwise fail on your customer's wall. A first-pass yield of 98% and a 99.95% final pass rate are the difference between "we test some" and "we test all."

Ask for the failure numbers, not the brochure. A factory that can tell you its defect rate to two decimal places is a factory that measures quality instead of talking about it.
Start small, build the line
You don't need to launch six sizes on day one. A brand is built one product at a time. With a five-unit minimum order, you can pilot one size in one market, learn what sells, and expand — 65", 75" and 86" cover most education and meeting-room demand, with 98" and up when you're ready to move up-market. Every interactive flat panel in your line should feel like it came from the same hand, not a mix of suppliers.
Lonton runs a 100,000+ m² facility with 15 lines and a 23,000 m² Class 10,000 cleanroom — panel assembly to packaging under one roof. That's what lets us lock your spec, keep your build exclusive, and ship the same product on the tenth order as the first.

Get your brand on the line
If you're launching or expanding an interactive display brand, tell us your target market and the sizes you want. We'll send you a factory-direct OEM/ODM quote with your logo, boot screen, packaging and manuals included, usually within 24 hours. Start with a sample unit and see the build quality before you commit to a line.
FAQ
What's the minimum order for a private-label brand?
Five units per size to start, so you can pilot before you scale.
Can I get my logo, boot screen and packaging customized?
Yes — logo, boot animation, packaging and manuals are all part of our OEM/ODM service, in your language.
Will you sell my build to another customer?
No. We keep private-label builds exclusive to the brand owner by contract.
What panels do you use?
BOE and CSOT A-grade panels, locked into your spec so orders stay consistent.
How do you control quality?
48-hour aging test on every unit, 98% first-pass yield and 99.95% final pass rate, with full in-house assembly.
Can I start with one size?
Yes. Most brand owners pilot one size first and expand the line once it sells.
