How to Train Employees to Use an Interactive Display (2026)
The panel is on the wall. IT installed it correctly. Nobody is using it.
People are not lazy. They are afraid of looking stupid in front of an 86-inch touchscreen. Any train employees use interactive display effort that ignores this fact will fail before it starts.
The fix is not a longer training session. It is one successful interaction.
Step One: Touch It
Do the training in the actual meeting room with the actual panel. No slides. No conference room lecture. Have each person walk up and do three things: turn it on, open the whiteboard, draw a circle. That is it.
When they see that the board does not shatter or beep or demand a password, the barrier drops. The first interaction should be trivial on purpose.
Step Two: Share a Screen
Move to screen sharing. This is what people actually need in meetings. Show the EShare QR code on the LonTon panel. Have everyone scan it with their phone. Their screen appears on the board.

Step Three: Make a Call

Let them see that the camera and microphone are built in — no external webcam, no speakerphone to pair. Most people have used Zoom on their laptop. The only new information is that the board runs the same app.

After 20 minutes, attention evaporates. Three interactions — write, share, call — in the real room, with the real hardware. That is the entire session.
